Context

the company

@bsurda was born in 2009 as an LGBTQIA+ party in the programming of small nightclubs. It was created by my partner, Ed Luiz. In his words “I created the party I wanted to go to”.

It was not intended to last long, or even to grow. The first logo was incredibly artisanal. At the time, twitter celebrities were influencers. The name came from the @ of twitter.

Today it is the largest LGBTQIA+ event in the state and one of the most important in the country.

The cut outs on the font represent it’s ever changing nature, how new things can fit in the, yet, empty spaces. A shapeshifter.
